Bahamas - November 2002

Home

This was a one week stay at Cable Beach, New Providence, close to Nassau.

The diving was excellent again with much to see, as I have now come to expect from New Providence. The only downside was that we didn't go to the lost blue hole, which I understand they only do in the spring owing to the conditions.

Overall conditions for diving were good with impressive visibility, except for one dive to the James Bond wrecks where we experienced poor visibility.

Photos

This was my first go with a digital underwater camera. This was a Sealife Reefmaster DC200. The best of these pictures are shown below. On the whole I was quite pleased with the results, though the absence of an external flash meant they did come out rather blue.

More details of some of these sites accompany the pictures.
