Seychelles - April 2000

Home

This was a fortnight stay at the Paradise Sun Hotel in Praslin, Seychelles.

The diving conditions here were excellent, with great visibility.

Highlights

The most spectacular dives here were at South Marianne; on each of the trips here we saw around 20 or so white tip reef sharks including babies. Another very good site proved to be Roche en Bas where we encountered something like a dozen or so humphead parrotfish. I also saw a couple of hawksbill turtles at Pathe Anse Kerlan and White Bank.

The following picture of several batfish was taken while snorkelling. This picture was taken with a disposable waterproof camera.
